Halloween Parade

On the last Sunday in October every year APRD hosts a Halloween Parade in downtown Arbuckle. Dress up and join us or just come down to see all the costumes.

Santa

One Sunday night in December Santa comes to Arbuckle and with the help the of the local fire department he goes around Arbuckle visiting with the boys and girls. Schedule of stops are in flyer.

Fish On Wall

POOL COMING IN 2024/2025—Every May the Arbuckle Tidal Waves Swim Team hosts their annual fundraiser where you can purchase a fish that will be painted on the side of the pool. Fish range from small to super large.

POOL COMING IN 2024/2025 — Every summer the community pool is open from June to August (closes when school goes back in). Perfect on those hot summer Arbuckle days and nights. Individual passes are available. The pool is also available to rent for private parties.

Movie In The Park

Seasonally APRD will host a movie in the park at Balfour Park. Join us for a fun family movie. Bring your own lawn chair and popcorn and sit back and enjoy the movie.

Pumpkin Festival

Every year on the first Sunday of October LaVanche Hursch Community Park in downtown Arbuckle hosts a Pumpkin Festival. Come purchase your pumpkins and stay for the BBQ lunch, children’s activities and great vendors. Pumpkins are grown locally and come in many shapes, sizes and colors.

Car Show

On the last Sunday of October ARC hosts a Car Show and Depot BBQ. Over a hundred vintage vehicles come to compete for prizes and bragging rights. A BBQ lunch is also available to purchase. Entertainment and vendors will be on hand also.

Golf Tournament

During Spring ARC hosts a Golf Tournament at the Arbuckle Golf Course. Proceeds to benefit the efforst to restore the town of Arbuckle and the Arbuckle Train Depot. For mor einformation contact Diana Lytal (530)681-2532.

ARBUCKLE FUN RUN FOR EDUCATION COMMITTEE
The mission of the Arbuckle Fun Run for Education Committee is to promote, encourage and foster the love of physical fitness through offering opportunities to participate in fun events.

Almond Fun Run

Fall—Join us each Fall for a Fun Run/Walk through scenic almond orchards. Includes 1 mile , 5k and Stroller races. Awards will be given for top performers in six different age groups. With prizes being awarded to record breakers and the top three stroller run/walkers.

SPORTS LEAGUES

Westside Little League

WLL follows the Little League International mission which is to “promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball and Softball." WLL includes the towns of Arbuckle, Dunnigan, Grimes, Maxwell and Williams within it’s boundaries. They play games for varied levels in spring and have limited teams for fall season.
